Bergan Sails (dB) is a family operated, radio control yacht sail manufacturing company. dB sails are the producer and designer of DF Class Yacht sails, IOM and custom models sails and associated products. 

Sporting the dB logo which represents the initials for Daniel Bergan.

  I started out making DF sails as rehabilitation plan in 2021, after undergoing open Heart surgery. Unable to work in my qualified field as an Audio-Visual Engineer and Shipwright. Creating ideas for the development of sails and new designs. Thinking outside the box and trialing new concepts that fit within the DF Class rules.  Achieving a more consistent performance from a set of sails. This brought forth the Powerhead and Turbo models. These models have seen great Success at the highest level. Other concept sails are being produced and tested. Soon to be release is the new Fast 1 {F1} design in 2024. This design is like no other.

Now supplying Sail products worldwide. Expanding not only in sails, but into parts and accessories.

Our plan is to keep growing these aeras offering the best service and products.

 Daniel also sails the boats at the highest level, reaching number 1 ranking and placed 2nd at 2023 nationals,3rd in 2024 Nationals and RC laser National champion 2024.  Also having state title victories to his name. We understand what it takes to produce a sail and rig capable of winning championship regattas. Consistency is the key and with the newly developed SYSTEM method. We are ticking boxes.

What sets us apart?  We don't approach sail making the same way as others do. we are not a cookie cutter business. We want to learn and bring our experience to others to create the best Proformance. Mentoring People is a key for success.  We believe in a relational experience, partnering with our customers. Learning what they are doing and helping them with systems and set ups.

Usually, the Bergan Sails tent can be seen at Regattas. Anyone who sails with Bergan sails is welcomed to join us in the tent. As we work as a team helping those who want help to tune their boats. An onlooker asked what the tent is about- I was quoted saying "I don't sell sails; I sell a lifestyle" but this is true to some extent. We want more than just your business; we want to build a community and a pool of knowledge to draw from.
